Welcome to the Blog!

Welcome, everyone! I’m genuinely glad you’re here—and not just because the internet says I’m supposed to say that.

This blog exists for people who love Jesus, own a foam roller, and have at least once wondered, “Does God care that my knees sound like bubble wrap?” (Spoiler: yes.)

Our business, Equipped Fitness, and our first book, The Strength to Serve, are both built on a simple idea: discipleship includes your body. Not in a “six-pack for the Lord” way—but in a faithful, grounded, sometimes sweaty, sometimes frustrating kind of way. The kind where discipline matters, grace matters more, and starting over every Monday is not a spiritual gift.

Here’s what you’ll find around here:

  • Faith and fitness without the nonsense

  • Training as stewardship, not self-worship

  • Theology that shows up sore but obedient

  • Honesty about pain, plateaus, and inconsistency

  • Zero promises to “change your life in 10 days, guaranteed” (because that’s a lie)

Some posts will be reflective. Some will be practical. Some might gently step on your toes—lovingly, and probably while wearing running shoes. All of them are aimed at helping you build strength that actually serves someone besides yourself.

So what now?

  • Read a post

  • Try a challenge (even the boring ones—that’s where growth lives)

  • Share something that resonates

  • Subscribe so you don’t forget about this blog like that workout program you saved on Instagram

And if you want the long-form, sit-with-it version of these ideas, grab a copy of The Strength to Serve.

No hype. No guilt. No mirrors yelling at you.

Just small, faithful steps—taken consistently, together.

Let’s get after it!
